"Again I had the pleasure of fishing with Jim Walling on Ray Roberts. This trip was originally scheduled for the Wednesday before the CAT Tourney but was cancelled due to high winds and today's start time was pushed back due to lightning. Summer is only a few hours away. We fished on the main lake Corp piles and Jim's piles. The fishing started out slow. One or two good fish per pile. About 11:00 the fish turned on. Jim asked me what changed? The answer was the wind. When we started the wind was out of the SE, went dead calm and finally out of the NE. In Jim's experience, the NE wind makes the crappie turn on. I can't argue" Pat M.
Jim Walling, Professional Fishing Guide

By the way, 1 child aged 12 or under fishes FREE with a paying adult!
Jim had the pleasure of taking Ray Roberts fishing not long after the lake was finished. He'll never forget Ray saying, "Jim you know there is something to be said for catching fish on your own lake."
